The Lamano Agency is committed to helping individuals live fulfilling lives in their preferred community setting. By providing a person-centered approach, we seek to help people connect with life through our programs and services. We currently serve  Altavista, Appomattox, Bedford, Chatham, Charlottesville, Danville, Forest, Gretna, Hurt, Madison Heights, Martinsville. Lynchburg, Vinton, Roanoke, Rocky Mount, Fredericksburg,  and Salem areas and we are constantly expanding in Central and Southwest Virginia.  We invite you to become a part of our family and enjoy the connections we bring to you.

We support individuals who are intellectually disabled with a diagnosis of Mental Retardation or Developmental Disability. We also provide support for those who have physical and behavioral needs and dually diagnosed individuals.

Exciting news for the Lamano community! It is our pleasure to announce that The Lamano Agency has been purchased by  Lutheran Family Services of Virginia, a well-respected nonprofit that provides educational and social services, that has long wanted to provide services to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
